About what year are you using for the s10 springs? If I remember from owning a S10, the old boxy s10 85-93 should have different springs that the newer one 94-04.
Also what shocks did you use? or are you not using them anymore?
And have any of you dont a leaf over axle?
Sorry if I seem new, Ive never lifted anything before.

As far as what to grab, its the springs and shocks (if they are still good). I had some lift shocks pulled from a different XJ, so I didnt think of grabbing the shocks, though I wish I had.
As to sprung over/under, the S10 springs are mounted over the axle when you install them in the jeep, but as they were origionally under on the S10, you have to flip the locating pin over. Also note that the locating pin is in a different place than the XJ, somewhere around 1 1/2" or so. There are only two "easy" ways to remedy this: build a bastard pack with the top leaf of the cherokee springs and whatever combination of the S10s gives you the desired performance and lift (cut eyes off of the S10 top leaf if used), or drill a new locating hole in the spring perch on the axle. There are bennifits either way, one being ease of replacement later on if you have to change them again, and the other method allows you to fine tune the set, and ensure the axle is in the proper geometry.

There were 3 or 4 different spring weights that came w/ the '82-'93 S-10's. Tahoe's had the beefiest (~1,250 lbs). I couldn't find anyone to take the stock springs from my Tahoe so I just dumped them at the recycling yard last week. Got 6 bucks for 'em.....
