Default Rustys shocks

How do I activate them, they don't have any bands on them and you can hear the juices inside when you shake them, but they dont expand themselves

not sure, I know some struts are locked and to release them you rotate the shaft about 1/4 turn and they will extend. but I'm not sure about "rustys" shocks.

Because they're not charged. It's just hydraulic fluid.

I would return those if you can afford Nitro's. I bought my truck with a set on it. they're terrible.
