Sweet, didn't know they made them! I have seen one other fabrication place that sells them but RC has always been good to me!
RC are also bolt on and the HD OFFROAD ones are weld on only for about $20 more. I doubt the RC ones are as thick of material but it looks like they would be plenty strong.

I saw these and watched the install video. for someone who cant really fab or wants something 100% bolt on the RC ones may be the way to go. they don't list metal thickness but it shouldn't be an issue either way...
however with that being said i like the HD engineering version (original) it is the same type of bracket but also utilizes all of the hitch mounting bolts to hold it to the uni-body and is bare metal so you can weld it in and have it be secured 100% no bolts to loosen up. however they aren't 100% bolt in for 97+ years as the metal on the original shackle mount needs to be trimmed slightly for it to slid over the thin sheet metal. but other wise very clean install. only took 1HR with welding and painting for us to install them. its only 15$ more and 1/4" plate .http://www.hdoffroadengineering.com/...relocation-kit
but to either system, it will make it ride better with the new correct shackle angle, as well as flex better too. I installed the HD ones on my jeep and they are awesome. In my opinion they are the best mod I've done right next to long arms. lifted mine 1" with a 45* shackle angle. pick in my build thread.

For what ever reason I did not think they were a bolt in. Your are right though just re-read the LONG LONG thread over on Naxja and although the directions for them state to weld them in also Brian(?) the manufacturer says there is no reason they couldn't be just bolted in.

Yeah, I think I am going to get some of these myself. I think this will be a cost effective solution to level up the sagging on one side of the rear of my jeep.
I don't guess it matters if you don't have the shackles mounted in the same holes on both sides, would it? Like if they were just one hole off on each side.

So you will probably have the same issue adding the extensions on. I just cut off enough for the tail pipe to clear the shackle and no more. It looks more like a straight pipe out the rear now versus the little turn down it had.
