replacing tre on rc track bar
I found the part number is es140r so I'm ok with that. What's the easiest way of going about changing the tre?

^^^good suggestion. I was wondering tho how does that work. Would it grab on the the top of the tre and then I just crank away? Or do I have to use it on the frame end anf put the screw part on the tre.

The problem with using a balljoint puller on the stock trac bar mount is there's no room to fit one. I didn't have a properly sized pickle fork when I removed my stock trac-bar so I had to pull the mounting bracket and give it hell with a hammer. And the nut was rusted on there so bad I had to break it loose and turn it off with a hammer and chisel.
P.S. when you replace it do yourself a big favor and add anti-seize on the whole portion of the bolt (threaded and tapered).

for the trac bar mount i just put it a little offset (using the screw part on the bracket and the claw on the bolt end) and screwed it that way. the trac bar mount is tricky, id you could upgrade to a fixed poly joint with drop bracket, then i would do that. talk to RC and ask them about it, i know that they make a joint that will fit there old trac bar

I just did mine last week. I pulled the track bar mount, took off the castle nut, put the track bar in a vise, and took a hammer to the mount to get it off. I then decided I hated all the rust so I took a wire wheel to the whole mount and got it to bare metal and then painted the whole thing to prevent anymore rust.

I have the old rc track bar, I dumped the tre, rethreaded and put a 9/16" heim and bolt with misalignment spacers, I haven't had to screw with that thing for 3 years now. Bomb proof.
