replacement tranny help

i blew my tranny out the other day after a trail ride.i want to no can i pull any tranny out and drop it in or is there more to it? i herd that there are difrent output shafts? any help would be great thanks

Where are you getting the tranny from? Same year and model? Spec ??? I was a trans guy a years and it should just drop in, just make sure your Torque convertor is seated befor you install. Otherwise you might break the front pump.
