Default `94 sport Fan belt still screeching;

Replaced idle pulley, water pump and clutch fan trying to get fan belt to be quiet.

Fan belt continues to make noise, but, it is quiet when sprayed with WD40.

Fan belt looks good, but should replacing the belt be the next step?

If not, what else should I try?

You need to put on a Gatorback belt and make sure it is good and tight.

Use a spray bottle and water or use belt dressing not lubricant. I'm betting you're using a Dayco belt; the cheaper Dayco belt squeals.

Never done it but one old timer trick is hold a stick of chalk, like what teachers use at school. Hold it against the belt as its running till squealing stops.

Do not use belt dressing on serpentine belts.

Teachers don't use chalk at school anymore.

Besides, doing what you suggest is a good way to lose some fingers or a hand.
