Default Renix EGR question.

Hi all. I have a 91 with an older Renix in it. My EGR has mostly been deleted. I am looking to cap off tube that goes from the intake/ exhaust manifold. I have removed the bolts holding it in, but the pipe itself seems to not want to come out. Does anyone have tips on how to remove that pipe? Also, I have one cap that came with my exhaust manifold, I’ll need a second for the intake side. I went to my local hardware store and couldn’t seem to find a match. Anyone know what size they are for threading into the existing holes?

Appreciate it!

I’d appreciate it. It’s the metal pipe going from the intake/ exhaust manifold.

i recently deleted the EGR when i put an HO exhaust manifold on. I bought the block off plate off ebay to block, the plug you need for the intake is Dorman #090-061.

Awesome thank you! Do you have a renix? If so which plate did you buy? Did you just cut the pipe between the two and break it out?

I have an '88 (yes renix). I bought this plate here and I was able to get the pipe fitting off the intake manifold and throw away the original exhaust manifold with the egr pipe on it.
