Default regearing question

Hello,
in the next month i am looking to regear my 2000 jeep cherokee sport. Will this kit contain everything i need to regear? I know the proper gearing i need i just wanted to know if this kit had all the components i need to properly regear my jeep?
http://www.rustysoffroad.com/jeep-dr...8-25-rear.html
It had the d30 front and 8.25C rear. I have triple checked. Simply let me know if there is anything else i need to regear. -Midtiger

Your link isn't working but I bought my gears from Rustys for the HPD30/Chy 8.25 it came with both sets of gears and the master install kits for each of them. The only difference is your 2000 if it still has the stock front LPD30 the gears for it are different than mine (reverse cut). It even comes with the blue RTV sealer included.

If you aren't installing above a 3.73 gear your good with the stock carrier, for a 4.10.4.56 etc. you will need a different carrier or a full case locker. With the full case locker you will not need the new carrier.

I operate my XJ in and around water/mud/snow so to make things easier I installed aftermarket differential covers that have drain holes on them as well as fill holes. I change my fluids more often than most and these make it very easy to do so without pulling the covers off every time. I still pull the covers once a yr. or sooner if I think their may be a problem to look at the gears and lockers. Gear lube is cheap and water can enter easily into the differentials even with extended vents and such.

I could be wrong but I thought the carrier break was 3.55 & numerically lower & 3.73 & numerically higher.
If you're just going from 3.07 to 3.55s I'd just grab a HP 30 & 8.25 from the jy out of a late 96 thru 99 auto with the Inline 6. Less to go wrong & you'd gain a hp front.

I had someone else do my gears/lockers cost was to cheap to run the chance of me screwing them up, not a Ford 9" for sure did a bunch of them.

David I thought that 3.73 were max for a stock carrier may be wrong but some came with them, but it may be 3.73 and up numerically.
