Regearing
I'm wanting to regear and was just wondering what all I need to do? Can i just buy a new ring and pinion or do i need other things? And whats the difference of buying new rings and pinions from Quadratech for roughly $180, as opposed to buying them on line for like $400? I would like to do this when I put new tires on and just wondering what Im gonna have to do..

I see you are running 30" tires and have a 5 speed... I would just say hit the junk yards and get a set of 3.55 (automatic 6 cylinder) axles or even 4.10 (auto 4 banger) axles
cheaper and easier than doing gears...
when I got a pair of axles for a buddy he only spent $150 per axle, and sold his old axles for $50 a piece

what tires size are you planing on running? a shim kit is almost always a must, new bearings is also a good idea as you have htem off....
gears, seals, master install kit.

Several specialty tools required for set up and a decent knowledge of how the gears work. Keep in mind if they are set up a little bit off you'll get to buy another set. That's why installs cost so much.

Gears is where the term, "If you have to ask, Forget it" comes from. Plan to pay $500-1000 per axel and have the pros do it. You will save both money and heartache in the long run. I do agree the with others I'd go find a 3.55 or 4.10 axle set a the JY.
