Too many variables to provide an exact answer.

I've been on the same set for well over a year.

ive run the same inverted t setup since 2008 using the chevy 1 ton tie rod ends.

no spacers, no tie rod roll.

it helps that my drag link is at less of an angle than most however being over the knuckle and the fact that i never ran over 5" of lift. (usually closer to 3 or 3.5")

I have a Currie Corectlync. I like it, but it has its advantages and disadvantages

Advantages:
Easy to bolt on. not much change from stock
Designed for lifted vehicles around 4" ( I still used the drop pitman at 5.5" that came with my lift kit)
Beefy 1.25" solid rods

Disadvantages:
Built in TRE on the drag link. When its done its done.
Much larger than stock, so at full flex on a right turn, it can hit the sway bar mount. I am fixing that by relocating the sway bar mounts soon.
Kind of $$$ (Crap just checked again at $450!! stupid expensive. $275 when I got it)
TREs are not standard, so they have to come from Currie.

If your looking for fast cheap and easy, just swap in a grand's steering linkage, stronger than stock.

what about just replacing the tie rod with something heavy duty...? isnt the stock XJ drag link solid and pretty beefy already?

the tie rod is independent of the drag link.

We've been selling our kit since 2002 and were the first shop offering the 1-ton conversion kit for the XJ. We sell that same kit today!
