My kit does not require removal of on side of the tie-rod to make alignment adjustments...it's infinitely adjustable.
My kit uses standard over the counter TRE's that can be found at any auto parts store. The passenger side TRE does need to be tapered to match the mating drag link TRE, but I've got those on my site as well.
Better check your state and local laws regarding heims used for steering in vehicles that are driven on the road.
Drop pitman arms are only needed if you lower the frame side track bar mount. As long as the drag link and track bar are parallel you simply don't need to change it.

I'm a bit limited facilities wise and don't have any tools to metalwork. Is there a kit that doesn't need extra tapering? Or is that unavoidable to some degree? I guess I was mainly seeing if there exists something that's fairly as-is and bolts right in.

Im considering doing a steering upgrade and have looked at IRO and at yours Serious. But can some one tell me what's a better setup OTK or UTK? and with Heim end joints or chevy 1ton TRE's? What will have a better on road feel? and which will perform better off road and flex better? These are the things I would like to know.

i am very happy with my currie steering, its a drop in replacment system. same idea as stock just mucho beef and angled greasable TRE's so they are not getting torqued on while sitting at lifted ride height.
with my mild 3.5" lift and small 31" tires and mostly stock front axle, it works out just great. drop it in, hook up steering stabilizer, do alignment. drive away.
it will add a few pounds to the front of your jeep thats for sure, but if you shop around you can get them for really good prices. cheaper than the avg guy would get replacment stock steering for..
im just outside Vancouver BC, and i get all my stuff sent to ship happens in sumas, its a 40min round trip to cross the border and pick up for me,
i know your in Alberta but have you ever considered using a US shipping depot?

I've had a few folks take the kit to a shop to be installed and the mechanics don't read the instructions or understand the purpose of the poly spacers.
