Rear wheel well pinch weld repair...Bushwackers

Model: Cherokee
Engine: 4.0
When I installed my cut out bushwackers and ended up cutting all of the pinch weld and overtime water and mud got in there and ruin my electrical.
First I filled the gap with spray foam, then pop riveted some "flex edging". I finished it up by feeling it with short strand fiberglass.
My concern is if it will hold up when flexed out. I thought I would share this because I havent seen any write up on how to fix this.
Let me know what you guys think.
