For those of you with the IRO Track Bar...
I'm about to pull the trigger on the IRO Track Bar this week. Any issues anyone's had with 5.5" lift or so? Things I should look out for?
Also, anyone running it or happens to have the IRO bracket handy to measure the double sheer joint eye-to-eye, that would be MOST helpful. I have a Rusty's bracket that's pretty beefy (I know their TB's are junk), and if I could reuse that, I'd love to save the money.
Thanks!!

I really wasn't all that pleased with mine. The bar and bracket itself were pretty beefy but the bushings were junk imo. Went through 3 sets of them in six months. Also even with the axle centered perfectly I had issues with the bracket hitting the coil spring perch. I had to pull the axle approx. 3/4" more towards the driver's side and grind off a pretty good piece of the spring perch to get it to stop hitting. This was with an RE 5.5".

OP, I'm sitting at 4.5" and love it.

How much do you wheel or drive your XJ that bushings go out that fast? Mine will simply be a weekend toy. Did you end up going with another track bar? I was considering ponying up the extra $$ for a Clayton, but I'm really trying to keep the cost down

lol maybe that's what I should do. The Clayton offers an HD bushing track bar kit, and that has my eye as well but I haven't read as much about that one.

I eventually ended up putting up the extra cash for the clayton track bar with the hd bushing. My jeep does get a lot of miles being a daily driver and beat hard in the trails and on the ash dumps on the weekends. Loving the clayton, has been on there for around 2 months now and so far so good. The build quality on the clayton bar is absolutely top notch. Really tightened everything up compared to the IRO one.

Agreed on bushings, get a spare set or something. Mine are trashed and have been for a while. Guess I beat it too hard lol. You won't have any other problems with it, keep the bolts tight and rock on.
If you're too low and the axle isn't perfectly centered, you can hit your diff cover with it. Wonder how I know lol.

I originally have a gray one, and picked up a black one when I got my 231. It's kinda dirty and not in such good shape, so I may keep the gray one and just paint it, not sure yet. Either way I won't need two so one of them will get sold.
