Default Fender reconstruction after previous cutting

The fenders on my jeep were cut over ten years ago. At the time, my dad and I didn't search how to properly cut and fold so just cut the fenders. After years of wheeling, they have separated and are getting bad. I have started the process of putting them back together...but in the process I'll be raising them past a normal point. I will need to reconstruct the inner fender. I've seen others do it and I'm pretty confident in my metal working skills so we'll see how it turns out. Pics below show how they had separated.

Here is where I'm at currently...Yes I'm aware some of my cuts are not perfect. It will be cleaned up later on.

It will need a little more work but is coming along well. Just trying not to light the inside of the jeep on fire.
