Default Rear Shocks

just got my lift on and have the wrong rear shocks. Need to get shocks today and wanted to check what are my options. My lift is 3.5". Reading the forum looks like JK Rubicon shocks with a slight mod to fit.... any other options?

You can use Monroe Matic Plus #31094. These are for a Comanche. You will need to use your old bar pins for top mount or get Bar Pin eliminators (BPE's)
Shocks will run you around $25-$30 each. Have a great day!!!

you could run fox air shock if you want. hahah all kidding aside ^^^ thats a really good idea. or if for some reason you wanna go cheap go to autozone and tell them what ends are on the shocks you need and tell them the size and im sure they can find some?

Finding someone at the zone with a clue, is the hardest part of the equation. I used to do it all the time, and everyone on my crew could do it. Last time i was in to the local excuse, er I mean zone, they were having problems finding the enter key.

Thanks so much for the help. On Sunday I bought NAPA sensatrac part # 37029. This shock is for the Comanche. I removed the old bar pin by cutting the shock and rounded one end of the bar with a grinder so when I pressed it in the new shock it wouldn't tear the new bushing. This Forum saved me aging!!!!

I'm running stock 2010 chevy 2500 z71 shocks pressed out the metal inserts and did the bpe using sway bar parts. They work like a champ and are nitro charged

I'm running 1995 F150 4x4 shocks on mine and they have plenty of room to grow. and they were only $20 a shock at autozone. Just had to make BPE's and pull out the metal sleeves and ream out the bushing a bit.

I'm using the NAPA blue shocks on mine with swaybar based BPEs. With a 3.5" lift BPEs would be better than trying to press your old pins back in

Got them from a local shop for free after he lifted that truck. They had 12k on them. I am running 3" of lift but these will be fine when I get 4.5-5"
