Quote: Sorry, I had read here that it was larger on the V8 grands than the I6 Cherokees. Get a larger swaybar for the front.
My stock measures 0.95". I found one out of a 1991 Limited 4WD with an OD of 1.10". The few V8 Grandpa Cherokees at the JY were all smaller than 1" OD. Go figure. Want bigger, go measure.

Mine's a 90 Limited. I took the rear bar off the first weekend and threw it away. I've never noticed, but I also threw the blocks away that the PO had installed and went full leafs in the rear, and then installed the correct end links and disco's on the front, and it drives just fine. I have towed quite a bit with it, and some heavy stuff as well. I don't miss the rear bar at all. YMMV
