Rear Powertrax No-Slip issue
Howdy! I have a Powertrax No-Slip lunchbox locker installed in my rear Chrysler 8.25, I had 4WP put it in there when they regeared both axles to 4.56s. After driving it around for awhile I started to notice some funny sounds (unlike the funny sounds a locker should make) and a heck of a lot less traction in the rocks than I had before. After taking it back to 4WP, they said that they tried everything they could to get both back wheels to spin together but only one would rotate at a time. Basically, only one wheel is getting power in 2wd (I think it’s the driver’s side) what could be the cause of that? Anyone else ever have this problem?

Yup, something's not right. There's a little rectangular piece of metal that comes with the kit. It's supposed to be used to verify minimum and maximum clearances between the two halves of the locker. Make sure they check that when you bring it back in, or do it yourself.

I had a similar problem after wheeling hard on the Fordyce trail. I switched the inside halves around and it cured the problem. No explanation of why that worked

When I did my Spartan install the final step gives directions to verify the operation of the locker by spinning the tires a specific way with the rear end off the ground. I'm assuming you could do the same verification to confirm the locker is not operating properly.
