A little bit. About the thickness of the caliper bracket longer.

It wouldn't hurt to go ahead & replace the outer axle shaft bearing & seals while you have it all apart.
I think the ZJ studs have 5-7 more threads to them.

I need the Wheel studs too. Can I tap them out of the ZJ at the Bone Yard ? Or do I need to REMOVE the AXLE shaft to get to them???

I had to buy new Brake Lines . The backing Plate I bought from the 98 ZJ did not have to be opened up in the middle. They fit right on,every thing bolted right up and works very nice. The only problem I had was Braking the Brake lines 2 of the Spider Gears came out of the Diff. They took some time to get back in right . I am glad I did this Conversion, I was driving for Months with out Rear Brakes . Its good to have 4 Brakes again. Thank GOD.

I was reading that some ZJ's came with a dana 44a and I was wondering since I have a 87 pioneer with a dana 44 rear would the disc brake conversion be a direct swap more or less? would I still have to make any modifications to the bearing retainer etc?
