First question: Do the shims add a bit of a lift to the rear?
Second question: What degree should I get with about 6 inches of lift and a transfer case drop kit?
Thanks

1) You will not gain any noticeable lift with shims.
2) With a cv driveshaft you will probably need 4 degree shims.

no lift. and you have to use an angle finder to determine if
1) you need them
2) how much.
every jeep is different you have to measure for your specific jeep

Thanks guys. I'll go under my Jeep after work tomorrow to put in some more wrench time and I'll try to figure out what degree shims I should use. Thanks again
