Default Rear axel swap

I have an 89 xj. im in progress of beefing up the front steering with 04 grand cherokee parts. Looking into a 2003 liberty for the rear axel. Which is an 8.25. Disk brakes and limited slip. Does anyone know if it's fits without modification?

Not even close to fitting without mods.
If it can even be done.
But get the disk brake setup off it, buy an XJ 8.25, and do the disc brake mod.

People say coilovers would tear my xj apart they were all wrong zhey also said I cant follow the buggy on 40s wrong again.

The wj in my opinion is a better platform than the xj

More comfortable steers better rides better badass on a iron rock full long arm 4"

Anything is possible wirh the right tools foot work resesrch and effort

I can't remember the width on the Liberty axle, but I think they are too wide. Also true for the WJ axle
