rear drum to disk brake conversion

rear drum to disk brake conversion
i have a 93 grand cherokee with rear drums and my friend who drives i 96 with disk in the rear grand recently blew up his motor. so my question is is is possible to do the switch to make mine rear disk? and would it be a good investment of time to do if it is possible?

Yes its possible.... Its very easy to do...
You are going to have people argue that properly adjusted drums are as good as properly operating discs... but do the swap and don't look back.

x2 easy swap and if you break a shaft the wheel doesn't fall off. Honestly if they are both grand I'd swap the whole axle, it will actually be easier.
