Default RE Track Bar Question??

RE track bar with heim, is causing my steering to have slop in it, I'm running a stock track bar frame mount for now. I talked with RE and they told me the only option was to buy a new track bar with a super flex joint instead of a heim, I understand their heims are 3/4 left hand thread, they also told me that was heim was not interchangeable with a super flex joint. Anyone else had these issues, if so what did you do to resolve the issue. I'm really not up for buying another track bar and would like to use what I have.

That mount is the mount required for the track bar with the super flex joint, not gonna do me any good with a heim.

I have tried to find reference on this and cannot, rubicon told me to either deal with it or buy their "BEEFIER" track bar that has a specific mount for it....I.e. The super flex one. BS

I would have given you my stock mounts last time I saw you.

Sounds like the hole is messed up on the mount and slowly works it's way lose.

I've ran that bar for years and at one point it did develop some play, tightened up the bolt that goes through the heim and it fixed it. I did end up replacing the heim at one point and have run if for at least 3 years. It's a ruff stuff heim and has a much firmer feel.

Thanks guys, I'm going to try and tighten it one more time, if that doesn't work I will try the misalignment washers first before I but a new mount, I think that's waste of money if I can get by without it. I understand it's stronger than stock but can't really see where it's gonna take the play out.

X2 on this. That mount can be used for either joint. Just have to get the correct spacers for it which is listed above in the quote.
