I used to have the super ride arms before I upgraded to the super flex ones. The ride was ok with my cheap skyjacker shocks. I would say it rides like a stock cherokee maybe a little stiffer. Its much smoother than my 12 JK though, that think rides like a tank.

without really getting into it, the draw back is having less up travel. which is no problem for slow crawling properly bumpstopped. flex is not an issue at all. a lcog rig can still have tons of down travel, just less uptravel. and tire clearance becomes less of an issue as the axles get wider

I've never seen the use of putting more than 4.5" on a cherokee with stock axles. that height is enough to clear everything and still fully cycle a suspension. why bother going taller

So yes they could hang up on stuff, and yes I will continue Down the path of long arms (I think) BUT, as much as it may be hard for people who are just looking at these and don't own them to believe. They don't seem to ever get hung up! Maybe it's just the way I wheel, everyone is different on the trail.
But you should know that it is a fantastic upgrade from short arms and works extremely well especially if you are a weekend warrior and drive it on the street day to day.
You get all the benifets of stock geometry, and a taller stance and great off road performance. I'm not saying this is an end all be all upgrade, just that IMO that when lifting your dual purpose XJ 4ish inches that this is In my opinion and in my expierence a much better choice than short arms.

On another note. To the guy that said "it's a jeep, it's not gonna ride smooth" please tell me how that is even close to true... It can, it's just a matter of some math and picking the right parts.
