RC Rear Springs too short!
Rear spring leafs too short (4.5" X series, #4087)?
Manage to get them in (jacking up the spring) but here is the end result.
Most importantly, won't this meant when its at full flex the shackle will be hitting the frame???
Anyone has this issue?

Should settle a little when you got weight of the jeep on the springs. Then should settle again after a few months. If nothing else i think relocation brackets are in your near future.
P.s is that a stock shackle? Might want to get a 1" longer shackle

Unfortunately, this is one of many threads I have read regarding RC lift springs being short. I have no good news to offer, other than your being correct about the droop contact (not that the contact news is good, but you being correct is ). A set of limiting straps could stave off the contact? I know a lof of people are running shackle relocation brackets to help combat this issue, as well as greatly improve ride quality by getting to a much more desirable shackle angle at ride height...

Getting a longer shackle or relocation bracket would increase the height and i dont want to do that.
Brand new kit btw.

kno when the shackle compesses itll get longer moving the shackle away from where its hitting in the pic. You need to put weight on it 1st befor you go anywhere else. where will it sit at ride height.

Problem is even when i compress it by jacking up the axle, the shackle would be just slightly off 90* to the ground, any more, the rear would be sitting lower than the front.
Anyone has this issue?

Wait when u jack the entire axle up the shackle is 90* to the ground? Thats right. The leaf will get longer in length pushing the bottom of the shackle more rearward makin it 90* to the ground.
They will settle and you shackle will sit 90* while on flat ground which is bad. Its this angle now "/" it will be like " l " when settled. This " \ " is how it should be. Brackets will fix it with only .5" to 1" prolly seeing as how its not 90* now.

In a few months it will be restin at 90*. And you will need brackets to move the frame side shackle bolt forward to make it sit 45° like this
<Front of jeep\Rear>
