Default Rc drop brackets

Was wondering how well these actually work? And can u use my 4.5 in lca and those brackets to go another 2 in? I have BDS adjustable uppers so I'm sure I'm fine With the uppers length? Thanks

They are OK but not a substitute for long arms. Mine unload a bit on hill climbs but so do most radius long arms and some short arms. Flex quite well and ride good on the road as well.

the biggest issue is that they hang down like 7-8" below the frame... other than that...

what does amaze me is the guys that act like using a transfer case drop makes a lift kit useless, but people never seem to think that drop brackets are the same thing...

it seems drop brackets are generally considered acceptable but that a t case drop is not... I mean think about it

I run them and pound on them pretty good. Theyve held up pretty good, and honestly I don't hit them very often. They flex well and ride about as good as stock.

T-case is in the middle and likely to get hung up whereas the drop brackets are right behind the tire. That being said I have hit mine but all it did was chip the paint. These help with angles and t-case helps with one and hurts two others, motor mounts and front drive shaft.
