Default Brush guard brackets

Looking for a set of brackets to mount a brush guard on my 96 XJ. The guard came off of a 98 model.

You need tow hook mounting brackets. Google em. Advanced or AutoZone May have them. Local part outs. And places like quadratec has the aftermarket ones that tie into the steering box

Yup. I originally had that brush guard way back when. It literally bolts like tow hooks. And whilst you at it, you should buy tow hooks and mount them one time. Do not get pulled by the brush guard.

Use grade 8 bolts for that. And if you got the regular tow brackets that just use the 3 holes. Careful with any side pulls, if ever needing any.

Will do. Looks like a trip to the home depot is in order once they come in.
