Default questions about custom front bumpers

so we haven't started on the new bumper yet, I have one more question. How would i cut the plastic in the wheel wells in order to make it look good on the Jeep with a new bumper. The Bumper will just be a basic C channel bumper. It would be great to get a lot of feed, thanks!

After you make the bumper, trim the plastic so it looks good. Thats about all there is to it

Put the bumper on and then mark the wheel well plastic with a white pencil for where you'll be cutting. Use either a utility knife or some tough scissors.

that plastic liner is always the first thing to go when i build a jeep. it just gets in the way and there are no ill effects from removing it.

(i guess you could argue that the door hinge area is more prone to rust and road salt, but in several years of owning xjs in new england winters and all my friends, and everyone on the forums, i have never seen this as an issue)

Use a cut off wheel and then use a utility knife to clean it up.
