Good plan. If the front should need to be leveled out, can stack one additional 'coil spring isolator' on each side for 5/8" lift. (I have these too if you should need them, lol).

That is a good idea. If my front springs do settle too much, I have been eyeing the ACOS which seems like a pretty good product.

I am pretty sure though with the addition of the tire carrier rear bumper and tire, OBA, highlift jack, spare driveshafts etc, I should have enough weight to level things out a bit.

Disagree. Longer Shackles will provide a wider arc so when highly arched spring compress and lengthen, they will not hit the bumper etc.

If he has lifted springs (more arch) on stock shackles ... there is the problem.

Guess I will just set this weekend out. Will give me a bit more time to play with my new Phantom Drone and learn how to use it so I can take some epic wheeling video's
Too bad you are not in my town, you could come over and take my spares that I took off from the previous lift I had.

Jeepers need Star Trek teleporters for sure.

Update: boomerang shackles installed, problem fixed. Didn't raise it as much as I feared, definitely more flexy. Good upgrade.

Good to hear! Now have a look at rear driveshaft to pinion angle. Should appear to be straight. Longer shackles will rotate axle, pointing pinion upwards, usually beneficial with a lift. Should be fine but is worth looking at to make sure.

Just an FYI, the Otto-Max leaf springs that Claytons sells are excellent leaf springs. I run them and have been incredibly happy with them.

Yeah, yeah, I hear ya. I will get some taken. Been too busy getting little stuff done to the Heep for next weekends wheeling trip.

Clayton 6.5" leafs with HD brackets and 1.5" TNT shackles (I think...got them ages ago from a buddy). Rides great on and offroad.
