threw out the trash. Folks I hear one more person rant about how someone types, writes, speaks or anything I find offensive in this thread you're gone for 30 days. This is an adult forum and I expect everyone to act like respectful adults if not time for you to move on.

Mine holds up good now i rarely break anything but i had to plate and gusset everything and i mean everything. Like i said the steering box was what gave me the most trouble. I also ripped the factory rear spring hangars off from the stress of that heavy 14-bolt. but it gets wheeled all the time and havnt had any problems in a long time. I will say this tho if your gonna putt alot of time and money into building an all out wheeler i wouldnt start with an xj dont get me wrong they are great rigs but they are so so much harder to build. Im to far into mine to stop now and i couldnt sell it for much so im stuck with it lol. Im building a flat fender right now and a yj as well so the xj gets less and less attention.

fairly confident that guy has no suspension travel or turning radius lol. Also me thinks there's a reason the back tires aren't that big.
That's a super duty Dana60 up front though with a coil conversion, which explains why it's so wide

The guy running 40s in that jp magazine article I linked has surprisingly good articulation and turning. He built that rig right and with a 502 and only 2.5 inches of lift.
