Default Powerstop Brakes Front Rotors on 98

Trying to figure out what i did wrong. Ordered thr Powerstop front caliper and rotor kit for my 98 XJ. KC2119-36 Z36 Truck and Tow. For some reason (thinner mounting plate material?) the rotor sits further back and is contacting the knuckle. Any ideas?

I saw that @Utah XJ had used Powerstop rotor kit, but wasn't sure if it was on his 98 or a different year. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!

Hmmm..I bought
this this
kit a few years ago for my 98 and it fit great. I looked at the amazon listing for the one you
bought bought
. The pictures at the top of the listing show the same problem you are having. MAkes me think some of the packaging isn't right.

In 99, they changed the wheel hub and rotor, reducing the height of the rotor by almost 1/4". It looks like you have 99+ wheel hubs on there...

Yeah, I saw that, but hoped he just ordered the wrong kit, since PowerStop website sent me to this exact kit.. Here are the pictures from that review, which, I haven't measured myself, but using the finger pinch test, I feel like the old rotors were thicker in that spot.

I have had Amazon send the wrong part. Returned it no prob, even after the one month period. If you call Amazon they actually give good customer service.

Ok, i think you are on to something. Powerstop tech support got back to me and recommended KC2152-36. When i updated my vehicle to a '99 Cherokee, that's the part number that it recommeded. Im guessing they have seen this problem before. Thanks for the tip!
