I posted a couple days ago about putting 31's on my XJ with 2in lift (AAls and Pucks)

I was told with adjusted bumpstops and either G Cherokee LCAs/steering adjustment this could work...

Now.. I just found a set of JK Rubicon rims and tires, brand new for $1200. Aside from the price... could these 255/75/r17s (~32's) with wheel adapters still fit on my XJ with the above mods? I'm not looking to trim any fenders.

If not, I'm buying 31's and the look-a-like rubi's from quadratec...

Since I'm here, do you think those rims+tires are a good price?

Thanks!

You'll probably need bump stops and/or cut your fenders.
$1200 is ****ing ridiculous. But then, I am a cheap bastard. If those wheels make you happy, then get them.

That's what I was thinking... the tires are brand new (200 a piece) so that's $800 already. Then for 400 you're getting 4 brand new, authentic, JK rims at 100 a piece. I'm about ready to pass on them because JK combo + adapters + my lack of lift = a PITA for usability.

I think I can get a discount from a friend on the tires that I know will fit, and I guess I could deal with the mamba knock offs. I just like the real ones... Plus, I'll have 0 luck finding like-new TJ rubi wheels...

See if he'll separate the wheels and tires and just buy the wheels?

I thought about that. I'll call and ask, it's at an offroad parts store. But, the more I think about it the Mamba MR-1's just sound that much better.
