Default Poor mans air-bump? Bumpstop

Was looking for a progressive bumpstop for the whoops and jumping camel humps on the beach.
With tuning these might work.
For the front, coil inserts are working good.

I thought the same thing until I got a hold of them, heavy steel plate and reinforcing fin.
My concern would be flexing the rear end and deflecting the bumpstop to the side rather than compressing it. Those you listed are good too because they give a progressive stop. The trick is getting them set to bottom out just before the shock bottoms out.

Here is mine on 2" lift. How much space should be between the bumpstop and the plate at the bottom? Mine has 4" of space between them in the front and 6" in the rear.

Measure the remaining shock travel. The axle should bottom out (fully compress the bumper) at this measurement and not allow any more up-travel.
