I am putting in a 3" lift and the front coil spring I am about to put in. I need to know if me putting a 2" spacer in it will affect anything with the steering or driving at all please! If it doesn't sound like a good idea, please tell me I need to know please!! Thanks!

Well it will go in. You might need some new parts like Drop Pitman arm or a track bar. But do some more reasearch its all out there and on here about peoples builds and what all they used and needed.

Im not gunna call you a liar but....I will say that your xj now has alot more stress on its steering components and even with an alignment your steering geometry will not be perfect creating unnecessary tirewear
