I have a 1994 grand Cherokee limited. I went to parts house to buy parts to replace all my steering components and my friend can't find anything that looks like my setup. We thought maybe this is not a jeep front axle etc so nothing resembles his computer and book diagrams. I can't reach the seller to ask him why it doesn't match anything in books but have not gotten a response yet. Here is a pic of my front end. My parts friends said there are differences in the bars and linkage that he can't match up. Can anyone help me with this please thanks. Howard. I can't figure out how to post the pic of my front end.

Posting a pic is easy from a computer. When you reply, look for the picture button and click it.
You'll get a pop-up that looks like this:
The easiest thing to do is to grab a picture off your computer and drag it over that "cloud with arrow" graphic in the middle. Or you can click the "Browse Your Device" button and go find the picture on your computer.
If you're trying to post from a phone, I'm not sure what to tell you other than to copy it onto your computer and post it that way.
This is what I found out guys. All the suspension and under carriage is after market. It says rustys off road. The seller told me the tie rod set up and all that was actually 3/4 ton Chevy parts but could not tell me a yr mod to look up so I'm no closer to resolving this. I do not want to take this to a 4 wheel dr shop cause I fear I will be charged a small fortune. The seller told me I could find all of it at www. Rugged ridge. I would much rather be able to walk into a parts house and simply buy the stuff I need. Might not happen that way. I don't own a computer and can't figure out how to post pics from my iPhone.
No insult intended newbie.....Do you older guys realize this..... For some time now we have had a generation of young working people who aren't really great at their jobs but get by. They can't speak well (everything is like OMG) or (I M their 4 U ) and surely can't proof-read anything they write/blog etc..
OK, we get it and deal with it but now we have a new "New Generation" who don't have full computer skills because they don't have one.
Everything they know and do is in the smart phone in their pocket, OMG !
Again Newbie, Nothing personal but you are the very first person I've ever known to not have a computer but you carry-on business by phone.
It's a new world out there but last earthquake we had the first thing to go was the cell phone system.......Be Prepared.....I am

If yours is the rustys steering, it uses CJ tie rod ends. If it is the rugged ridge, you have to call and order them from them.
To be honest, both are terrible and I would recommend upgrading to a new system over wasting any cash in them. You can just buy the ZJ tie rod/drag link New for the price of all new Tie rod ends. ~100$

Then you have cavemen like me. Turn computer on, the end.
I don't get offended. I am part cave man. I'm still trying to figure out the fire thing. Lol. Honestly I don't have the use or time for a computer. I did get everything figured out. It has a long travel kit on it from rustys off road and a steering conversion kit from rugged ridge. I found someone local that has ties with a distributor of rugged ridge. I have pulled some hair out over the weekend getting all this resolved. No offense intended but if all you know is a computer the new age things such as iPhones has this feature known as spell check and I swear at times it is not as smart as I am. I know my southern slang and how to spell it as wel. Lol well. iPhones were not engineered in the south that is for sure. Thanks for all the help. Sorry that my information was not enough for you guys to know what I was dealing with right from the start.
