Default pitman ARM

So I have a 3.5 RE lift but have the stock pitman arm should I put a drop pitman arm in. I have had loose steering I have replace the power steering pump the whole column and it is still loose

At 3.5 its really not necessary for a drop pitman arm. And the loose steering is more than likely a sloppy steering box. Try swapping the box out with a durango one from the junkyard or just a good oem replacement box. And check your track bar as well. A bad track bar will make it steer like crap

Had to swap the box on my XJ and my brothers also. We both put lifts on. His is a 4.5 and mine's a 3. Think it has to do with the steering geometry. The lift puts things at at funny angles. It accentuates little play into a big problem. Durango box is super sturdy and way easier for a shop to play with.

BN has it right, I've only seen a need for the drop arm when getting over 6" lifts.

Changed the gear box and its still the same goin to change the shaft between the column and gear box
