You must never have owned an LT1 lol. The optispark (distributor) is just below the waterpump.... Must I say more? A remedy is an electric waterpump. But that doesn't take away from the fact that the optispark is garbage. Previous owner of a 94 Firebird Formula. Boy was that a fun car though! Skip-shift was kind of a weird thing to put in a 6spd car. First time I felt that I was like WTF!!! For those of you who arent familiar with skip-shift, it was a feature that would block gears so you would get better fuel economy. Well, that was the idea anyway...
