Default 2003 Cherokee Rear brakes backing plates

I'm trying to source backing plates for my cherokee sport. The originals have fallen apart due to rust. Finding it difficult to find replacements.

Just want to clarify if you mean Grand Cherokee or the non-US Cherokee (Liberty in the states).

Yeh its a Liberty in the States... 2003 2.5 crd Cherokee sport here in UK

Yeah rockauto.com or even summit racing should have them,Just search for it as a Liberty and you should be set.

most of us remove our backing plates, this is predominately a modification forum. If you can't find it in the aftermarket call the stealership

Maybe I'm missing something here... how can you have parking brakes without backing plates?
