Default upper control arm replacement

I need to replace the upper right control arm bracket on a Dana 30. It is completely missing. I find plenty of available brackets so that’s not a problem. My question is how is the bracket located so that the geometry is correct?

Match the angle and height to the cast mount on the pumpkin, obviously at the opposite angle. Or buy an artec truss or other truss that comes with an upper CA mount

Or if you have a lift you can go 3 link http://www.bleeoffroad.com/ which won't use the passenger side upper mount at all.
