Default Oh great here we go again.

So i had a 4.5 inch lift for about 3 years and decided to go to 6.5. after lifting the front i noticed the axle was shifted. so i got a adjustable trac bar to fix this. after reading multiple forums, i found out the trac bar and the drag bar are supposed to be parallel. ooops!!!!! mine is deff not. after looking at my invoice for my trac bar it says they sent me one for a TJ not a XJ. But i looked around and it looks like they are the same thing. But anyways driving to work today and at about 40-45 whenever i hit a bump i get the DEATH WOBBLE!!!! Someone please share some advice, i need this fixed ASAP.

THANK!!!

Can you take a picture of your front end to see what's going on?

When you went from 4.5-6, you changed your caster angle. Reset your caster angle back within factory spec... good bye death wobble

tj xj use the same front control arms and trac bar from most major lift companys if not all.

Yes caster is a big part, Also the higher you go, the more you expose the front ends problems such as hubs ball joints tire balance etc.

Unequal angles between the track bar and drag link will cause bumpsteer. Bumpsteer can "initiates" the actual DW but that bumpsteer isn't the root cause of DW.

If everything is correct and in good working order you can have bumpsteer with no DW.

As the others have said - correct your other issues.
