Ditto that. I just stumbled upon this thread while searching for info on the Novak shifter kit, which looks like a good solution to me but it is pricey. I love the look of their custom shift **** as well.

I agree that a custom fabbing job would be much more reliable and sturdy, however I unfortunately lack the proper tools and skill to fab this up myself.

I am highly interested in your kit as well--definitely don't want to mess around with any cable shifters either. PM sent!

Hey guys! We finally got the laser work in for the replacement t case levers that will come with our kits! We have sourced all the components needed and this kit will be going on sale next week. We are going to start the pricing at 50 bucks for the complete kit including the replacement t case lever to orientate the linkage above the case, 2 heim joints for a solid conection between the shifter and t case (no sloppy bushings here), a replacement easy adjusting linkage, and all needed hardware to bolt it up.

We are hoping to get pictures up this weekend for you guys.

Any chance of an NP242-compatible linkage? Or will it work with both?

The NP242 and NP231 linkages are identical. The only difference between the 2 is intervals between the stops on the shifter since there is the full time option in there.

That's kinda what I was thinking. Preordering today! :-) Thank you for this offering--there are not enough aftermarket options for linkage.

One last question--does this come with a new shifter **** or does it retain the factory lever? I'd love to have a **** there to replace the lever. Not a fan of that factory design.

Up for sale on his website. He is a vendor here so he might knock off a couple bucks for being a member here.

Along this topic - has anyone seen/can anyone recommend a replacement for the shift handle itself? I'd like something that comes up like my manual's shifter so I don't have to reach down and fumble to switch between 2H and 4H on patchy roads.

Shipping seems a little steep...but it is all still cheaper than the Novak kit!
