Default Newer flares on old cherokee

Haven't found a write up on this .. Are the 97+ flares bolt on to the older XJ?

I think u need the brackets that the flares clips on also

The 97+ flares are different than the pre 97. The ends have a different shape and I believe the mounting holes are different.
I don't think they would look right without modification.

I have my front fenders cut like the 97+ and the rear quarter is cut and folded so they would look right!

With the brackets from the 97+ they should bolt on. I put them on my 87.... Didn't you ask this already?? I just got a feeling of DejaVu.
