Default Newbie Question - crossover steering

Whats a crossover steering and what would be a good setup for my 4.5 lift. everything is stock as far a steering is concerned.

drag link goes from pitman strait to right hand steering nuckle ,then the tie rod has a seperate joint then goes strait over to the left hand nuckle, no connection on the drag link just strait links, check out balistics fab!!!!!!!!!!! is huge and beefy im thinking about it also

Looks like this. This is the eBay kit but Currie or Ballistic would be better. I'll be upgrading to full custom kit in a few months. I have a Grand Cherokee but Cherokee will be the same style. Steering stabilizer should be on the drag link but my track bar is set up for high steer...

Tested out my setup on some local trails this weekend, held together great. Would be perfect for your smaller lift.

as mentioned crossover steering is when the tie rod connects to each knuckle, then the drag link attaches to the knuckle rather than the tie rod.

Close enough. Most Cherokees have baby lifts compared to mine anyway.

Whats the advantage of switching over to cross-over?
