I had a rc 3" addaleaf installed on my 94 xj some time ago and just decided to go up more. i installed the rc adjustable rear shackles at the 2" holes. now my rear axle is significantly forward in the wheel well(not centered anymore).

i torqued everything with the vehicle weight on it.

 

when lifting just the rear of the spring it will pitch the axle more forward, the shackles are angled to thr rear right

 

they are barely. they are close to vertical. ive bounced the back and everything to see if they would settle further.


also i put an 1 1/4" drop on the transfercase crossmember and with the axle like it is my front yoke is seated all the way in

 

found it!! the front spring loop walked off the bushing some how and went forward.

 

has anyone else had the same issue while installing shackles or an add-a-leaf?
