I have completed the front stiffeners now and started the passenger side mid ones. I used paint removal pads for a grinder to remove the undercoating. It works great but be ready for a big mess. Not looking forward to the drivers side mid.

Got tired of welding so I started the front end teardown instead.

Made my own axle tube sleeves. 2 inch Dom. Cut about .015 off the outside dia.

Sleeved and boxed the passenger control arm mount.

Put gussets on the C's.

Really hard to weld in there.

sorry didn't see this. Steel it is a paint that you can weld through and it doesn't make your welds contaminated.

when it was open I actually used a 2 inch inside dia. Piece of pipe then welded it to the inside then boxed the arm and welded it up.
