New guy and suspension geometry
Havn't owned a SFA rig in a while (wheeled IFS toyota mostly) and although I have owned several jeeps in the past none have been lifted/modifed extensively.
So really trying to get my jeeps road manners under control here's my setup so far:
RC 4.5" lift / RC adjustable trackbar with frame-side double shear bracket.
Pitman arm, drag link and tie rod setup all stock. The trackbar and drag link look parallel (green lines) this is ideal, right?
On the list of things to do are control arm drop brackets, adjustable upper/lower control arms, sway bar relocation and quick discos. I'm also wanting to do the TRE flip at least on the driver side. I marked that with the red line.
By just doing the driver side this should improve steering geometry without changing my trackbar/drag link geometry, correct? I understand there is more extensive modification to do the passenger side. Are the benefits worth it? This would in fact change the drag link / track bar geometry and would require raising/lowering via pitman arm, correct?

Nothing out of the ordinary currently. Waiting on adjustable CAs to help with alignment settings jeep wanders a bit. Otherwise just replacing warn components to help tighten up the steering, etc, etc. Thought while I was buying new TREs might as well flip the driver side, right?

eh..nothing is worth doing with a stock Tie rod and stock TRE's. You catch a rock of any magnitude itll bend your hollow stock rod. The ZJ rod is solid, and the TRE's are much bigger. Its direct bolt in.

My geometry is exactly the same as yours. I have a upgraded tierod, definately get that before you mess with anything else. I have tought about getting crossover steering but never about just flipping the driver side over the knuckle. It seems like a good idea and would put the draglink perfectly even. I wonder if there is any reason not to do it.
