cherokee sport vs grand cherokee

cherokee sport vs grand cherokee
I have a 96 jeep cherokee sport. The body and floor have rusted out badly. It has a great drive train under it. i want to know if the chassis for a 96 grand cherokee is the same as the sport. I want to put my engine trans, suspension, steering components on the grand cherokee. thanks for being patient to the newbee.
