that ring is just pressed on it has a lip on it. I just usually put it in a vise and drive it off with a hammer and a big punch

having the rubber seal ontop of the ring all jacked up like mine is..will it effect anything. There's no zerk fitting but I'm sure j can squeeze one in there and inject it with grease..unless that seal being damaged is gonna cause any problems, I'll just run with it in that condition.
