Need some electrical help
So I recently picked up a set of 18w cree LED offroad lights for my jeep. Mounted them to my new bumper up front and figured I'd wire them up to the factory wiring since the jeep previously had factory fog lights. The new LEDs won't turn on with the factory wiring tho. Am I missing something? I figured the wires and output of the factory lights would be more than enough for the low output LEDs. Thanks for any help in advance.

Did you test the LED unit before hooking it up? Does it come with a "control box"? I know my 10" LED light bar did. I axed my factory fog setup since I did the Putco harness upgrade, and I spliced the positive end towards the switch in with the positive on the cigarette lighter, so that it can only come on with accessory. Works great.

I was going to suggest the same thing. LED's have to have the positive on the positive, and most of the time when they don't work, you just switch the leads. I can only think of three things. 1. Polarity is wrong 2. You've not spliced into a 12v line properly, so you're not getting power 3. you are't making a good ground
