Default Need more lift out of my RC 3"

What's up guys, I bought a 3" x series RC lift a few months back with the full leafs and tcase drop. I'm running 31x10.5x15 tires now however I'm not really satisfied with it. It has sagged quite a bit and is now rubbing with only bumper trimming. I'd like to raise it up even more now to get it into the 4" spectrum so I can fender trim and run 33x12.5. is there any suggestions on how I should go about this and should I get a SYE kit and a drifeshaft if I plan on going this route?

Could get a spacer for the front and a AAL for the rear, but the AAL will ride like crap.

Another option for the rear is to make a bastard pack from a S10 to give more lift or but a entirely new set of rear leafs.

SYEs are always a good idea if you plan to go 4" or more.

Longer shackles in the rear, spacer in the front.

That is my plan. I was on a budget for what is after 4 Jeeps my first build. After going with Rusty's 3" and 31's I went out for a few rides and immediately decided to go to a bigger tire/lift set up. Steps for next season include, 2" shackles, 2" spacer, BPE's (maybe longer shocks) SYE/driveshaft, 35" tires and some trimming.

Your should also regear the axles to run 35s, unless it's for off-road use only and you will be in 4x4 low most of the time.

I'd get rid of some fender before I added more lift 1.5-3" is perfect for 33x12.5s.
even if you do raise it an inch your still going to be trimming as but the same to make it so you can actually run it

if it's mainly for looks then you may get away with less trimming

Day i tossed 33x12.5s on. Lift is a sagged out 3 sits about 1.5\" above stock now. I brought these home knowing iit was trim time

Lift is the same sway bars removed and shock mounts reworked and offcourse lots of material removed from fenders.

Photos for motivation i guess. Front still rubs at full stuff.

yup. regear, forgot to add that, and the locker, formula says 3.70 so, 3.73 should work for my 8.25, lucky for me that is also available for the Dana 30.

I wouldn't waste money on the 3.73 gears, I would get at least 4.10s.

From some talking to a few people that install lifts, they cautioned about lifting with shackles, while it will provide lift, it will cause the rear half of the leaf to flatten out over time.
2nd hand info, take it for what it's worth.

I wouldn't do longer shackles, I'd get a shackle relocation kit and see what I need from there......gain lift, AND a better angle/ride.

I to see no problem with stock length shackles. Build or buy a adjustable shackle box.

I have a project started 9n our digger bucket torch is out and on motovated.

I may cut some spring pads that weld on the axle. They would get 1.5-3" of lift depending on condition of factory springs or basterd pack. theyd be longer 10" maybe to help with spring wrap. Ohh and they have a few locations for spring eye so axle can be moved back an inch or two.

these arent my ideas its all stuff that can be bought in off road fab it your self world

Shackles are more complicated then people think. You need to match the shackle length up with the arc of your leaf vs how much it bends. Too short of a shackle and it binds. Too long and you dont benefit from the travel.
