Default need help on lift kit install/question

99 Cherokee classic build has been underway.
I drove it for the first time today, 6.5 la r/c lift with 33x12.50x15 tires on 15x10 wheels.

when turning the tires are wanting to eat the back of the front fenders out.
What are my options vs. cutting the fenders, that is really my last resort.
I am trying to maintain the factory look with the factory flares, but about ripped one off making a sharp turn.

any help?

will an acos solve this issue or cause more?

If you have long arms it sounds like they aren't adjusted long enough. A 33 shouldn't be rubbing your fender with 6.5" of lift.

any idea on what setting it should be at? 29 3/4 is what rc calls for, but I found out they send the instructions for a 4.5" lift and not the 6.5" lift so the measurements are off from what they say.

funnily enough, the links on their site to the 6.5" LA lift are broken.

I did look at it, it says 29 3/4, I'm at 30" and it hits, so something is not right.

Post a pic of your tire in the fender well sitting on flat ground.

Yeah +1 for pics. Even with a 10 inch rim you should not be rubbing.

Just adjust your arms forward. By the time you get a pic, upload it, then listen to everyone saying to adjust your arms. You could have had it done already.

that's what they said, they said as long as there is at least 1 inch of thread in the long arm, adjust as needed. They said sometimes some vehicles need the suggested starting point and some need a lot more.

I'll give it a whirl this weekend.

thanks guys, I'll let ya know

yes you did, I didn't know that the bump stop post should be parrallel with the springs, that's my issue then, the bump stop post is pretty close to the spring.

Thanks again man, much appreciated.
